Arvida confirms the possible sale of Timaru retirement community.
Arvida has confirmed the possible sale of Strathallan retirement community, located in Gleniti Timaru, to Presbyterian Support South Canterbury (PSSC).
PSSC is a charitable organisation that provides a range of health and social services to people of all ages and backgrounds in the South Canterbury region. They have a long history of providing services to local communities that extends over 100 years.
Currently PSSC operates three aged care facilities locally in Timaru and Temuka: Margaret Wilson, Wallingford and The Croft. It has been operating these for over 30 years.
Arvida Chief Executive, Jeremy Nicoll says “We will be working closely with PSSC to ensure a smooth transition so that care and support continues to be delivered for all residents. Strathallan has been a key part of Arvida since 2017 and we look forward to seeing PSSC’s continued commitment to providing a high-quality experience at Strathallan.”
PSSC CEO Carolyn Cooper says “The purchase of Strathallan will enhance Presbyterian Support’s ability to provide a range of aged care and retirement options within the district. We are really excited to be working with the skilled and caring team at Strathallan”.
