Presbyterian Support's Enliven offers a variety of positive ageing services for older people living in the Nelson community. These include HomeCare Nelson, Heat and Eat frozen meals, Totara Nelson, Falls Prevention and Harakeke Nelson, a partnership with the Nelson Alzheimers Society which provides a day programme for people experiencing dementia. |

HomeCare Nelson
HomeCare Nelson supports people who need help to live at home for a variety of reasons. HomeCare Nelson provides Home Support for the Ministry of Health and for ACC, which means that we can provide many home support services at no cost to assessed people. For private individuals we are also happy to provide home support services.
Heat and Eat
Heat and Eat offers nutritious, affordable frozen meals delivered to your door.
Totara Nelson
The Totara programme is for isolated people living in the community. Transport is available and Totara are able to access funds from Ministry of Health and Work and Income for most people who use this service. Totara operates from 10am to 3pm on Tuesdays and Saturdays in Nelson.
Falls Prevention
The falls prevention service supported by ACC for people over 65 uses Tai Chi as a strategy for people who wish to improve their balance and strength.
