Kakapo Lane provides 24-hour care for up to 12 residents. Although the unit is housed in, serviced from and shares some staff with Vickery Court it is structured to meet the special needs of residents including those with multiple disabilities. Kakapo offers a long term residential care option with daytime staff that specialise in disabled care. Short term or respite care is also provided, subject to the availability of rooms.

Features:
Kakapo has a dedicated courtyard for residents but many also enjoy thecompany of those in the attached resthome/hospital. Many of the residents have lived together for a number of years and this is reflected in the family home atmosphere of the unit.
