Wanaka, Elmslie House
Elmslie House is an integral part of the Wanaka community. Offering long-term hospital and rest home support for older people, Elmslie is one of seven facilities operated by Presbyterian Support Otago.
Our commitment to providing care for all people; regardless of culture, religious belief or background, is reflected at Elmslie.
Elmslie was purchased in 2001, and a new retirement village is being developed on site. This will allow us to offer a further range of independent living options to older people from 2008.
Services available include:
· 24 hour care in a safe and comfortable environment
· Spacious private rooms with ensuite facilities
· Home cooked meals
· Full laundry service
· Excellent leisure and social programmes
· Private lounge with a log-burner
· Attractive and sunny new conservatory and a sheltered courtyard
· Five serviced apartments, and three cottages for independent living
Health Care benefits include:
· Individual care from and experienced, caring staff
· Access to your GP of and 24 hour provision of medical services, including a Registered Nurse
· A physiotherapist and a therapeutic recreation officer
· Dietician, podiatrist and pharmacy consultants available
