Presbyterian Support is a leader in the provision of community-based services in Otago. Home Support helps you stay in your own home in comfort and safety. Home support is committed to providing quality services delivered at all times with understanding, respect and kindness.
Home Support offers:
- Personal Support
- Domestic Support
- Carer Support
- Personal Visit by the coordinator for assessment.
- Support plans
- Competent staff who receive on-going training and supervision
- Liaison with other community services & health professionals
- Coordinators who respect the diverse needs of clients
Domestic Support
Available Monday-Friday from 8.00 am - 5:00 pm:
- General Housekeeping
- Shopping - if mentioned on your referral
- Laundry
- Assistance with meal preparation
Personal Support
Available seven days a week:
Bathing/showering, toileting Help with dressing/hairdressing Assistance with meals Carer Support
We can provide assistance seven days a week, including overnight care, for family respite and for those recently discharged from hospital.
DO I QUALIFY?
Home Support is available for anyone regardless of age or circumstances. Most care provided is funded by either the Ministry of Health, Otago District Health Board or ACC. However, you may also pay for your own care. Care and assistance can be provided on either a short or long-term basis.
