Opportunities for Volunteers

There are many opportunities to assist PSN and our clients through the gift of your time and skills as one of our valued volunteers.

This could include becoming a Volunteer Driver, providing assistance at one of our Enliven Day Programmes, or perhaps providing some administrative support to one of our Family Works Northern teams.

Volunteer Drivers

Do you enjoy driving? Do you have a couple of hours each week to spare?

Transporting and assisting senior members of the community, including driving them to and/or from our Day Programmes in Hamilton and Whakatake provides a vital community service, is very rewarding and only requires an ordinary drivers license.

Please contact us if you would like to know more about being part of our Volunteer Transport Teams in Northland, Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga and Whakatane.

Enliven Day Programme Assistants

Our Hamilton and Whakatane Enliven Day Programmes, which support positive ageing by providing opportunities for social interaction and various activties, are looking for people to assist in the day to day running of leisure activities for people aged over 65 years.

Please contact June in Hamilton on (07) 849 8371 or Jackie on (07) 308 0055.

General support to Family Works Northern

You may be able to provide administrative support to one of our Family Works Northern teams, or perhaps help out in our Auckland Foodbank.
