Family Works Northern provides a range of strength based practice child and family services, programmes and community development initiatives located in eleven community based centres. Our Social Worker in Schools is an early intervention strategy which provides school-based social work support.
We have an opportunity for a qualified, solutions focused New Zealand experienced Social Worker familiar with strengths based principles, committed to the needs of children and young people in the Maketu/Te Puke community. This is a full time position.
Familiar with the Primary and Intermediate school environment, your outstanding communication and people skills, together with demonstrated success in developing and or facilitating preventative programmes makes you the person we need for these stimulating roles.
