Strengthening Families Coordinators – Part Time Flexible Hours

Based in Avondale, Mt Roskill and Panmure
We’re looking for 3 Strengthening Family Coordinators to facilitate interagency collaboration and shared planning processes to enable the building of strong families and whanau. These stimulating roles encompass fostering government and community co-ordination with whanau, including promoting community education; supporting and encouraging collaborative case management; supporting Strengthening Families facilitators and case management meetings; as well as taking care of general administration and record keeping that supports the Local Management group.
For these new positions you will need to have excellent communication skills; experience in working with families, children and/or young people from various cultural backgrounds and group facilitation experience. An understanding of strength based frameworks, operations of central government and social service agencies and experience in working across sectors to produce positive results for whanau (family) are also important.
Own transport needed and a relevant graduate qualification is preferred.
